power rangers!

ah, sunday morning i found myself awake at 7 am. why can't i sleep in anymore. this places is brighter than 4051. i made myself stay in bed and managed to catch a few more winks. my day staqarted around 10am. horace and i headed to carrefour. i needed to get an iron to try to de-wrinkle my clothes. i also need groceries. i found frozen kentucky corndogs at the store. of course i bought them. although soon after i realized i didn't have a toaster nor an oven. hmmm. returning to my apartment with my two overstuffed bags, yes i tried to cram it all in two bags because they charge for the plastic bags, and broom, i decided to cook the corndogs. the frying pan and oil would work. i burned them ever so slightly but they were still good.

after lunch horace and i decided to walk around lake ansan park. not much going on there since they are still building things. looks as if on one side of the street they are building a skate park, what might be an ice skating rink, and some tennis courts. maybe they'll be done before i leave. next to the bridge that goes over to these fine soon to be things is a mural with a anime beaver. you knows. later on we stumbles by some wall structures with the beaver again plus they had handprints and writing on them. and one wall had children drawings. very interesting. not much else happening in the park beside the crazy poodle dog that was running and wearing shoes. yes, the poodle was wearing shoes. there were a few people here and there having picnics and stsuff like that. it's actually a nice park.

after the park we stopped in dunkin doughnuts. i attempted to order an iced decaf but that wasn't happening. not sure why i thought they'd have decaf when you can hardly find diet soda here. i end up with a regular iced coffee [i haven't had coffee in over 3 years] and a boston cream doughnut. while we were in there the tae kwan doe teacher spotted us and stopped in to say hi. we found out that he use to live in the states and also worked as stunt cordinator on one of the power rangers show. how cool is that. he told us to call him next year. there only two tae kwan doe schools that have english speaking teachers and ansan is one of them so we figured we have to do. i think we are going to start in october.

the rest of the day i spent doing laundry and trying to iron my clothes. it took like 3 hours to do all the ironing and my clothes still look wrinkled. at least now they don't look like they've been rolled up in a ball for ten years. i give up. the wrinkled look is in anyway. isn't it. time for bed. until the next time.
