pretty persuasion

have i mentioned how cold it has gotten here. well it has. walking home from school today i realized that i might as well have not worn pants since the cold went right through them. i haven't been this cold since my days in boston. it looks like i'm gonna have to do some sweater shopping soon. can't wait to see what kind of fabulous korean fashions i can find. the day passed very slowly. how come it always seems that before you're about to go on vacation the days linger. in five more days i'll be boarding a plane for a tropical paradise. of course this weekend horace and i watched "lost", the tv show where the plane crashes and these people are stranded. i'll have to pack sensibly in case i find myself stranded on an island. speaking of tv i know i've mentioned "desparate housewives" before but how good is that show. i think horace and i are finally caught up. i'm so enjoying nicolette sheridian's character. every suburb needs the hot slutty divorcee to spice things up. it great to see the primetime soap making a come back. i use to love watching "dynasty, knots landing, and dallas" back in the day. although now a days the writing is a lot smarter. kudos to abc for taking a change on this show. and you would have thought that the guy who gave us "golden girls" could produce such quality drama. go figure. lets just hope bea arthur doesn't make a guest appearance. now for some exciting news. i traded in my yellow belt for a green one. yes, i passed yet another test in tae kwon do. GO ETHAN, GO ETHAN, I'M A GREEN BELT, I'M A GREEN BELT. i'm getting closer and closer to that black belt.
