message from thailand

hey everybody i wanted to let you all know that we are all fine. when the earthquake and tsunami struck we were in bangkok. we felt the aftershocks in our hotel but didn't really know how diastrous it was until today. i know many of you have sent emails and i really appreciate it you thinking of me. lucky for us vickie's friend told us about koh chang which didn't get hit. so far everything here is great. the island is beautiful and our hotel is very posh. this is a new experience for me cuz i'm so use to staying in average hotels. so far we've done nothing but sit on the beach and swim. tonight i had a young coconut and a pineapple curry which were both delicious. we ate at our new favorite bar we found along the beach called the porn bar. go figure. if it has to do with porn i'll find it. tomorrow we are going elephant treking and on thursday we are doing an all day snorkling trip. i can't wait. i'll write more when i return to korea. again thanks for all the messages. its so great to know that you guys are thinking of me. i'm going to take a walk on the beach now and then go to bed. thinking of you all...
