how am i different?

deery-lou.
saw hairspray last night with misty. i thought it was pretty good. the songs were quite catchy and there were some good lines. it was nice to see some of the original cast make cameos. michelle pfeiffer was awesome. i'm so glad to see her making good movies again. we went to the kabuki theater which is having a makeover. walking into the building was like walking onto a horror movie set. i was waiting for someone to stab me in the back. the cash registers were on a folding table by the door, all of the carpeting was ripped up, and there were even exposed beams. luckily the theater had already been redone or at least it looked that way. there were only 4 other people in there so it was kind of like having our own private screening.

after the film we went to over to the japantown mall to grab some dinner. most of the shops were closed since it was late but i was glad to see that many of my favorite shops were still there. will have to return when they are open. the mall, too, looked as if it was given a makeover. it seemed much more cleaner and nicer than i remembered it. oh it is good to be back.

stay gold & be well…

Didn't we see the musical? Or am I making that up? We need to figure out when we are going to the E-bay for Korean food! Yum! The heck with J-town!

the movie was great except for john travola's clay face.

don't hate on japantown - the ninja's will kick your ass.

Well it sounds like your SF life has just been a series on Misty parties... But that's cool. Heh heh.
I'm so glad your superpowers have not worn off... Koreans may be crazy, but SF is a law unto itself :)
I miss you terribly and look forward to a sweet day in the future when we hang again.
