you're the one that i want

deery-lou.
previously on the e-list…

the days seem to grow bleaker and bleaker as i send out endless resumes and get no responses. several questions fill my head. am i overqualified? am i lacking the necessary skills? is my phone number correct? job hunting sucks! this is the longest i've been without work and i'm starting to go a bit stir crazy. perhaps taking 3 years off and teaching abroad was not a wise choice. but if i hadn't left i most likely would still be debt. i guess it's better to be jobless right now than ridden with debt. i'm sitting here slowly watching my savings dwindle and wondering what's next.

on a happier note, the b-52's new album will be out on march 25. not sure what it is about this band but their music has a way of making me feel all happy and gooey inside. all i want to do is dance, dance, dance. i listened to a snippet of the new single funplex on itunes. happy, happy! can't wait for the album release. it's been awhile since i eagerly awaited the release of something new. love the album cover, too. they're looking all hip and fresh. photoshop works wonders.

stay gold & be well…

Chin up, Ethan. I know you will find a job that's right for you. Glad you are finding things that make you want to dance. yay for music!

Sooner or later you'll be back in the land of employment Ethan.

You will look back on these days of not working and think "sheesh, that was kind of nice".

Allow yourself to enjoy your jobless state right now a bit fella.

Because you'll soon find yourself back in the race.

The right job will find you. Don't settle! We working stiffs would love to be in your postion. As for the B52's, other than the theme from the Flintstones movie, their stuff always rocks! Hooray!

I feel your pain! I am doing a job I am ridiculously (I feel) overqualified for, but sigh. Better to find the right one.
